Weekly Screenshot: Showdown at Sundown
Whoever comes up with the best title gets to pick the next SF4 Biweekly TACV character! As always, the rules are one entry per person and i’ll choose my favorite on Monday.
SFA3 X-Ryu’s Shinkuu Hadoken startup against A-Akuma’s lvl3 Messatsu Gouhadou. Akuma’s version expands to that size every few frames, but Ryu’s only looks that way for a couple of frames at startup, before turning into a replica of his ST super fireball.
Hey i just realized – i’m probably not going to have enough time to get through the entire cast of SF4 before Super Street Fighter IV comes out. So winning these contests actually means something if you have an obscure favorite character with no combos and you want to make my life difficult and then point and laugh at me when i record FA dash throw 2-hit combos.

Thanks to everyone for participating! I know this one was kinda difficult to label but you guys came up with some really creative ideas. I liked Street Fighter Z and 3 Hit Combo a lot, but couldn’t pass up something as cool as Showdown at Sundown. Though i’m not sure what Fight For Your Clothes means …
afilia: Congratulations, you get to pick the featured character for the next SF4 TACV. Choose anyone you like except Guile, Ryu, Zangief, and El Fuerte. Please post your decision within 48 hours so i can get started as soon as possible. If you need help deciding who to pick from the remaining 21 characters, i’ve got some promising ideas with Ken, Fei Long, Cammy, Blanka, and Abel that i’d be more than happy to try out if you choose one of them.

Ok, from your list, I’ll go for Ken then. I know many online players use him and just go flying around with his Flaming Shoryuken, but I wanna see what you can do with him. Thanks man. :)
And about that “Fight For Your Clothes” thing, both of them are using opposite costumes. Akuma’s wearing white while Ryu is wearing black. So I thought that they are actually fighting for their clothes back. Ehe,

Thanks for choosing from my list of suggestions. I think Ken has a lot of potential and hopefully i can unlock some of it in time for next week. SF4 is still kind of unpredictable in a lot of ways. It’s hard to tell what’s gonna work until someone sits down and tries it.
